Missionaries
to the Preborn conducted a 10-day, 14-city, 22-stop
tour throughout Colorado. We stopped in cities
as far north as Ft. Collins and as far south as
Pueblo. We usually had about 55 people traveling
with the Tour.
Three
babies (that we know of) were rescued from immediate
danger as parents decided NOT to abort their children.
Hundreds of thousands of people witnessed the
photographs of preborn babies developing in the
womb, and of those murdered by abortion. We participated
in an effort which garnered much local and national
media attention. We purchased a ‘truthtruck’
and the Colorado Personhood Tour was its maiden
voyage.
The
following report is a summary of just some of
the highlights along the Tour
OUR
SET-UP
We
had to change the photographs we use for this
Tour in order to compliment the effort for the
Personhood Amendment which is on the ballot for
this coming November 4th election day. The Amendment
simply reads:
Be
it Enacted by the People of the State of Colorado:
SECTION
1. Article II of the constitution of the state
of Colorado is amended BY THE ADDITION OF A NEW
SECTION to read:
Section
31. Person defined. As used in sections 3, 6,
and 25 of Article II of the state constitution,
the terms "person" or "persons"
shall include any human being from the moment
of fertilization.
The
question on the ballot will read as follows:
“Shall
there be an amendment to the Colorado constitution
defining the term “person” to include
any human being from the moment of fertilization
as “person” is used in those provisions
of the Colorado constitution relating to inalienable
rights, equality of justice, and due process of
law?”
Here
is what our set-up looked like in order to compliment
the efforts of pro-lifers in Colorado.
