THREE DAYS OUTSIDE THE ACOG CONVENTION

A Report from Missionaries to the Preborn

From Sunday, May 3rd to Tuesday, May 5th, Missionaries to the Preborn gathered outside the national convention of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) in Chicago, Illinois.  ACOG is the licensing organization for all Ob-Gyn doctors in America.  Hundreds of abortionists make up their membership, and the organization has a pro-abortion policy position, as well as promotes pro-abortion public policy at both the national and state legislatures.

This was the seventh year the Missionaries have gathered to expose the bloodshed they promulgate throughout our nation.  This year they met at a fortress named the McCormick Place near downtown Chicago.

One of scores of buses enters McCormick Place by running the gauntlet Missionaries to the Preborn set up.

Clearly ACOG has tired of our incessant activities outside their national convention each year.  Meeting at the McCormick Place was their attempt to keep us away from the doctors medical personnel that gather each year.  You cannot get anywhere near the doors of this place.

We were undeterred however and set up a half mile gauntlet which the buses carrying the conventioneers had to pass through each day.  This way every single bus and every single person had to pass through our photograph display as there was only one way in and one way out!  The gauntlet had two traffic lights the buses had to stop at while going through.

In the morning they ran the gauntlet, and in the evening they ran the gauntlet.  During the day, we set up outside the Chicago Hilton where many were housed, and where they held their ancillary meetings.  There we were able to have contact and discussion with the doctors, and pass out our literature.  We put out nearly 2000 pieces.

The literature we made and passed out along with our ‘Why we show the Bloody Photographs’ piece.

We also took our truthtruck to ACOG.  We made special banners for this effort.  We took their logo (which is on the convention badges and every piece of lit they receive from ACOG) and modified it so that an abortionist appears behind the baby the woman is holding - plunging a knife into the child!

This truck caused no small stir!  We were able to park it in a most strategic spot each morning. EVERY busload went by the truthtruck with the ACOG modified logo while running our gauntlet.

Nearly EVERY head on the buses were looking at our truthtruck with the ACOG modified logo.  The pictures below are a little difficult to see, but every head is looking at the truthtruck while the bus is slowly making a turn.  This was the case with ALL the buses!

Bus after bus saw the riders turning their heads to see our truthtruck with the modified ACOG logo.

Yet another busload.

The Lord gave us favor with the police.  McCormick Place security tried to have us removed from the streets, but the Chicago Police would have none of it.  We were even able to leave our truthtruck in the strategic spot even though it was illegally parked!

Police confer with McCormick Place security before rendering their decision that we had a First Amendment right to be on the streets.

On Monday, May 4th, Faithful Soldier School of Evangelism and some others (http://www.FaithfulSoldier.com) who joined us in the ACOF effort went to the University of IllinoisChicago campus and ministered there in between the morning and evening stops at ACOG.  They had a great time of ministry as they passed out thousands of pieces of literature and had countless conversations, discussions, and debates.

Another common scene while at the university was seeing students stopping to talk with our people!

Jason Storms talks with a student who stopped to ask for literature because her cousin is planning on having an abortion and she wants to try and stop her.

Please pray the ACOG would have a change in their policy from pro-abortion to pro-life.  Consider joining us also next year when they meet in San Francisco.

May the Lamb that was slain receive the reward of His suffering!
